Born just minutes apart, Jadeie and Jonesy fit the description of Shih Tzu dog personalities — they’re affectionate, cuddly, and smell like Doritos. Of all the dogs I sit, these two are the ones I’ve spent the most time with. Every crossing of the threshold into their home in Arden, North Carolina, is met with eager, joyful dance on hind legs and raised front paws seeking connection. They love walks to sniff all the smells and poop all the poops. When not playing with toys and combing the floor for dropped food, they lay around snoozing, one step closer to their goal of professional loafing. On rare days, you may catch them at local bars chewing on house treats and sipping fine, filtered water. I believe my life is extended with each cuddly hug and kiss.
