Polly and Choo-Choo, a Reunion in Marshall, NC

I’ve known Polly and Choo-Choo since they were puppies. Polly’s a few years older but as spry as a greyhound. Their parents took a vacay to Boston to visit friends and explore the city which recently won an NBA championship. (Do you know about Jaylen Brown?) Atop a mountain in Marshall, North Carolina, is their quaint, modern cabin with all the amenities one would expect from a really nice Airbnb. The dogs spent a lot of time running around the yard searching for peanut butter treats which I placed in discrete places. This gave them plenty of sniffing time and leg stretching time. Inside the home, we cuddled on the couch. Polly particularly loved to place her head in the crook of my neck as we slept. And Choo-Choo was like a pillow in my arms as I cuddled him like a baby puppy.
